SDNit appointed launch partner for AWS European Sovereign Cloud

SDNit has been selected as a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud . We are one of approximately 30 partners globally, selected from over 150,000 AWS partners worldwide, who are now taking an active and leading role in the launch of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud in Europe. The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is AWS's commitment to a cloud built to meet European requirements for data residency, digital sovereignty, and regulatory compliance.

The partnership means that SDNit is included in a very limited group of designated partners within the AWS Partner Network. The selection is linked to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud initiative and provides access to in-depth collaboration on the launch and implementation of ESC in the Nordics and Europe.

A partnership for organizations with high demands on digital sovereignty

AWS European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) is a new, independent cloud environment from Amazon Web Services that will launch on January 1. It is designed for organizations that have high demands for digital and operational sovereignty within the EU, where control, governance, and regulatory compliance are crucial.

ESC means that infrastructure, operations and governance take place within the EU, by EU-based personnel, while customers gain access to AWS's full functionality and service offering.

SDNit is now a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. A step that feels right in our continued collaboration with AWS ahead of the launch in January next year.

As an ESC Distribution Launch Partner , SDNit will help organizations prepare for the launch of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, from architecture and governance to identifying and preparing the right workloads for future operation in ESC.
