Optimized system automation
Through a collaboration with one of its clients in the telecom sector, the company has enhanced the functionality of Cisco DNA Center through Python programming and FastAPI. The primary objective was to build seamless multi-tenant support within existing systems and automate the onboarding process for new devices. While some level of automation was possible before, SDNit has successfully simplified and streamlined the process. The method used ensures optimized system automation and facilitates better integration with other systems.

The development of this API integration with Cisco DNA Center translates into substantial resource savings for users, significantly reducing system administration. Processes that previously involved multiple steps are now executed within an automated flow. Less manual work also means a lower risk of human errors. Moreover, the quality is enhanced as platform elements are provisioned consistently for each deployment. The increased flexibility offered by this type of automation also allows for customization to meet individual customer requirements.
